| Particles are
simulated with the Discrete Element Method, and the
fluid is simulated with the Finite Element method.There
is a wide variety of research topics, and here are the
links to pages for Granular Dynamics Simulation and Fluid Dynamics Simulation. The research is not focused exclusively on fluid or particle mechanics; There are plenty of research projects that do not involve physics. Another research area of the group is the development of algorithms, parallelization, and program optimization. |
